  1. A couple of things may be happening:

    1) Your wire is shot, go buy a new one

    2) Before you buy a new one, make sure the plug has two stripes, not one, on the end. One stripe = Mono (or single channel) and Two stripes = Stereo (double channel, ie left and right channel)

What might be going on is that you have a mono cable and when you plug your mp3 player in and hit play, only one channel (obviously the right channel in this case) comes through and plays out the right side. If that's the case, just go spend about $4 @ your local Radio Shack and grab a 3ft stereo aux cable. If you dont know what that is, just go in and tell em you need a 3.5mm aux cable. They'll know what to get you.

Anyways, only other thing is that your current cable is shot so either way, go buy a new one, just make sure it's Stereo.

    Good luck!

  2. move the cables around. how old is your car/sterio? b/c sometimes older wires dont work etc.

what specifically dont work the bass or....

  3. the cable connecting your ipod to your radio isnt working the best...try messing with the cable (moving, spinning, bending etc)

  4. the cord you have (if you are using an aux input) may not be stereo.  if it is plugged into the back of the unit, it may not actually accept the aux.  it might just be used for a pre-amp output.
