He went to every nook and corner of Pakistan to collect funds for this cancer hospital. Since, Khan was a trustworthy name people wholeheartedly supported his cause and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Centre was formed. Imran Khan has not only raised the country’s flag higher, but has also done his share of work for Pakistan’s society. Imran has made sure that the hospital meets international standards where one can find the state of the art machinery. Most importantly, the hospital offers completely free patient care to the deserving people.
Another step that Khan took was to enter politics. He started his own party by the name Tehreek e Insaf. He has recruited individuals that share his ideology that is to build a better Pakistan for the future. Imran is currently working towards building a university near Islamabad along with improving his hospital as well.
Imran Khan is an internationally recognized name. He is one of the stars of Pakistani cricket because of his several contributions in cricket as well as other social issues in the country.
