The letter H is spelt haitch, how is the rest of the alphabet spelt?

Actually the name of the letter H is spelt aitch.  People presume the name begins with H and so they pronounce it haitch.  This has led in recent times to two distinct pronuciations.  Educated speakers tend to say aitch, less educated one say haitch.  However, this isn't the whole story.  In Ireland the republican/Catholic community have always tended to use the pronunciation haitch while the unionists/protestants have more typically gone with aitch.
