  1. Take it to the shop. I'm sure it is fixable and cheap if under warranty.

  2. Sounds like the guy above me knows what he's talking about. There are a couple of unlikely, but obvious things that I'm sure you've checked, but just in case:

You're sure it's the bulb and not a fuse? If you haven't, check the fuse first (although in all honesty it's unlikely there is a separate fuse for the little lamp).

Make sure the illumination level (usually a little wheel controller over on the left near the light switch) for all interior dash and radio lighting is turned up.

  4. It's one of those things that will run you $100+ in labor to replace a 2 dollar bulb. Try getting another unit from a junkyard or Ebay...or even a new head from Best Buy, etc.-much cheaper and easier than having yours fixed.

  5. Usually it's a wheat type light bulb and you are looking at having to remove the radio and bring to a shop as the radio has to come apart, and some are soldered in place....

But unless it's in the hyundai shop manual on how to do it, it's usually a radio shop only deal (meaning no one except them would know)

register and wait.. It's a free service manual site for hyundais run by hyundai itself
