The little shiny slip that holds the ps2 case on fell off, is it self-fixable?

While trying to clean the laser eye of my ps2, the little shiny sheet that connects the ps2 case got pulled out, is there anyway to still use my ps2? or is there a way that I can connect it myself? ( i dont know where it was before it fell out )

Well if you opened it, you've just voided your warranty.

That ribbon attaches to the eject/reset button on the PS2's case. You should be able to re-attach it somewhere behind those buttons.

This might be able to help you a little. I think it varies from model to model, but you should be able to figure it out.
