Team A has a 40% chance of winning any game against a higher-ranked team, and a 75% chance of winning any game against a lower-ranked team. If A is currently in fourth position, find the probability that A wins its next game.

Team A has a 3/9 chance of playing a team ranked higher than them and a 6/9 chance of playing a team ranked lower than them.

chance of winning = (3/9)*0.40 + (6/9)*0.75

                           = .33*.4 + .67*.75

                           = 0.63
