The long island rail road?

does anyone know if the LIRR goes straight to penn station, or does you have to get off in Jamaica and you take a bus there? Also once at penn station do you take the F or N train to 42nd street(time square)?

Yes, the LIRR goes to Penn Station.  It's the westernmost terminus for the railroad.

You can hop on either the A,C, E or 1,2,3 or 9 trains north one stop to Times Square, or just walk a few blocks.
