  1. The loudest storm I've ever heard was in Nigeria, Africa. It was so loud, that I was deaf for a few seconds and then my ears started ringing.

  3. A tornado passed by my apartment building back in Houston. Sounded like a freight train roaring past about six inches from my head.

    i live in Bogor Indonesia, it's not always a storm..

    but there is always thunder in every rainy day. guess what we have the record of most days with thunder in here with 322 days of thunder within a year.

    and though it is not too loud anymore.. its still scary sometimes.

  5. hurricane frances...it was LOUD!!!!!!!!!!! the thunder and the wind were really loud...it ripped off the plywood we put up...it was also my frist hurricane so it probaly sounded louder...that was a long time ago...hope i helped you :)

  6. We just got howling wind in thunder storm with the greatest sound from striking lightning. The lighting is unbelievable.
