If you were looking to become a doctor and you fail the MCAT test what jobs can a pre med degree get you right away and would you be aloud to keep taking the test as long as you have the degree

  1. No such thing as a degree in "pre-med".  You have to get a degree in something else, like biology, or psychology, or graphic design, or accounting, or whatever interests you.  There are a number of science courses that are pre-requisites to med school, and they overlap with requirements for biology and chemistry degrees, so you see a lot of people in med school with those backgrounds.

    You also don't pass or fail the MCAT.  You just get a score, like the SAT, that med schools can use to compare applicants.

    It's not a bad idea to choose a major that will make you employable if you don't make it into med school.
