  1. Most people have the same problem.....I am finally learning how to shut it up!!!  I am reading "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle

    Amazing how it works...HUGS!!

I am calm for the first time in my life.....living in the moment...not stressing over the past or the future

  2. Not more sick; sicker.

  3. I think I understand your problem...   Last month I got to bury my niece.  This month its my mom.   And I get to move the body of my son (so he can be next to his grandmother).  My job is fading away. My truck just blew a head.   And it goes on and on.....

I do have a bit of help to get some sleep.    They way I do is to re-play movies in my head.     I pick a movie I know start to finish and play it including all the lines and actions.

Some of my favs are.....   Out of Afracia..  Loansome dove.. Hunt for Red October.. Dead Mans Walk...  Down Periscope...   etc....

Just pick the ones you kow best so you can real off the details.   It may sound odd but it works and I have had friends it works for them after they try it.

    Good luck with your problems....

  4. Many people are bothered with this to some degree. You need to work on controlling your thoughts, your mind.

There are some simple exercises that will help. Sit down in a confortable chair, close your eyes, and focus your mind on your breathing. When it drifts away into thoughts, gently bring it back to simply focusing on the breath. Do this for ten minutes twice a day ---it is simple meditation, practice controlling your mind

Another exercise is to imagine a balloon floating up into the sky. Imagine that it pops ---and keep your mind focused at that spot as long as you can.

Keep in mind that only the present now is real ---letting your brain run wild with imaginings is missing out on real life.

  5. I hate that, what I do is i watch the channel guide on tv until i start daydreaming about nothing at all...especially with that elevator music they put on there lol, but if you REALLY can't sleep, drink warm milk mixed with honey and you will sleep like a baby

  6. I have slightly the same problem. I'm constantly thinking. I calm it down by thinking of something peaceful or actually...I start off a dream. It's odd I know but I just start off with some sort of plot and eventually I nod off.

  7. Sounds like anxiety.

  8. The best thing that has helped me was the understanding that things always have a way of working themselves out. Either the situation that I was obsessively worrying about never came to fruition, or it was not the end of the world that I made it out to be. The worrying is the worst part, mentally and physically.
