  1. yes Birth Control pills will lighten your period. some will even keep you from having one. consult your ob/gyn

  2. It's not like that for me, the second day is usually heavy but not like that.

  3. Yes, usually the first two days of a woman's cycle are considered 'heavy days.' Here's a little trick I learned after soaking my own sheets a couple of times. Before you go to sleep, make sure and adjust your pad (heavy overnight pads work best) so that its lower down on your underwear. You'll notice that when you lay down, that's the part that needs to be "protected" more, so to speak. You could try laying a towel or sheets over your bedsheets on the part f the bed you sleep on so that clean up in case do DO accidentally stain, is easy. Doubling up on underwear is also a good idea.

  4. The first fe nights when I'm on my period I wear a super tampon and a overnight pad to prevent accidents.

  5. thats normal. that happens to me, the first couple of days the flow is really heavy. on the first night i wear a tampon to bed, then set an alarm for like 5 hours later and change it. so then my sheets dont get all nasty and stained. men are lucky that they dont go through this c**p!

  6. Yeah, the first few days of your period are usually heavy, depending on many factors. You can stop heavy bleeding, bloating, cramps, and cravings by excercising and when you get cramps go on a walk or use a heating pad on your stumach. To stop bleeding through everything you could wear a tampon and a pad to bed and if you don't like tampons you could wake up and change your pad in the middle of the night. Or you could just wear a size super tampon to bed, that usually works for me! (:

  7. What I do is put two pads in my underwear.

  8. same problem here. boo men, they r soo lucky

  9. the second answer-er; i agree.

i always put two pads in.

or ill put it mostly towards the back, and a panty liner in the front.

even though i use tampons during the day, i just get scared because they say 4-6 hours and i know i wont wake up in the middle of the night and change it.

  10. Talk to your doctor ?

Theres nothing better then talking to someone you can trust .

But other than that , where two pads or somthing ?

    i dont know,

but i would talk to your doctor for suree .

  12. I get my period for seven days! The first few days its real heavy, i use a tampon and a overnight pad.
