No one seems to rate the Saints much - which in my view puts them most under-rated.  Tiges are very good talent-wise but too many mistakes to be close.

Over-rated ... well the Doggies have to prove themselves before so many people sing their praises (see above and any edition of the Age for proof).  I'd love to see them have a good year but like someone else said, their pretty good at losing nine in a row when it counts.

If anyone rates Carlton, that would be 'over-rated' by definition!! :-)

I'd say you're just about spot on.

Bulldogs haven't lost yet - highest scoring team, least disposals per goal, most inside 50's and Cooney's been outstanding, yet all I still hear is 'Geelong and Hawthorn'

Richmond started off slow, but have pulled their socks up and played good footy .

Carlton - win three games, and they think they've won the premiership - they don't have that bad of a list though.

Collingwood just haven't played very good footy, in patches

At the moment Port Power is underated slow start and almost written off now back on track, made the granny last year

Overated, St Kilda promises promises, and Carlton won three games whooppee doo

Underrated _

definitely RICHMOND

Richmond have all most completely overhauled their side in the past four years under Wallace, and this year it is starting to come together for them

Over Rated _

Colling-wood ( nothing unusual there) and Carlton.

Since Carlton snared Judd all you hear is Blues this and Blues that, but they have yet to be anywhere near convincing.

i think doggies -under rated. also but i think the blues are going to a lot better than i hope they do.....

over rated sides 2 main ones st kilda-- and the mighty maggies. sadly i do not think we (pies) will make the 8 this year......

Underated= Bulldogs and as always North Melbourne

Overated= Has to be Freo and possibly Collingwood

Freo are always talked up each an every year, people are like their gonna finish top 4. They always end up doing nothing.

Overrated - Arsenal (this year only) because they started off so good. and attrackt alot of attention, but end up winning nothing. Sorry arsenal fans.

Underrated - Bayern Muchen (They are a talented team with many new players, but not having enough credit from people)

Overrated - Definitely Fremantle!!

Freo are often predicted to finish top 8 and sometimes even top 4 but the never live up to the expectation! They can't win in Melbourne (and against Melbourne it seems) and either they just aren't good enough OR the are 8 or more teams better than them.

Underrated - I'll agree on the Doggies. They're finally living up to their expectations after some dissapointing seasons.

I disagree with Richmond though because they aren't really winning (they are just losing better than expected, if you know what I mean). That and they were bound to come good (or better than 14th,15th or 16th) at some stage!

Over-Rated = Saint Kilda. gawd i HATED the publicity they were getting before the season, coz i KNEW they weren't gonna step up. and they havent really yet.

another team would be Collingwood. Everyone always talks em up and lately they've not really delivered.

Under-Rated = Richmond have been showing alot of promise lately.

Adelaide have been winning plenty of matches, but dont seem to be getting any credit for it. so they're kinda flying under the radar.

id say bulldogs are under rated, all this season the people in the media haven't us any credit for the past 7 games, and its only now after we beat sydney that people are starting to think differently, what they don't remember is that we beat    st. kilda, and adelaide earlier on too, but still nothing after that.

most overrated side would have to be freo, at the start of the season everyone thought they were top 8 contenders, and well, look at them now. i just hope Melbourne gets a few more wins on the board, and make it WA - 15th and 16th

I also have to say I've heard a whole lotta Carlton this year and not much to back it up..

But I think Port is overrated as well..

They just dont deliver consistantly..

well for a start a msg to wikkid red... hu eva sed that the dons were gonna ber a good team this yr is true, and i agree... but unfortunently for them, like a few other years they have a huge injury list... i agree with romper having st kilda as the biggest over rated team, i also think that dockers and pies are also over rated... under rated i think richmond and adelaide... the tigs are still not answering with wins but they are defently a strong team... aswell as the crows who have won plenty of there games

Couldn't agree more with you Rogue, but at the same time it's still early in the season and in another 7 Rounds we could all be thinking something different.

Bulldogs currently in 3rd with no losses and playing a good team game that is hard to stop. Richmond performing much better than last season most picked them to finish 2nd or 3rd last.

Collingwood last season looked like they again would play deep in Finals this year, but have struggled till now, and Carlton are playing better ..... BUT ..... Judd can't make them that much better within a season

Under-rated: Bulldogs- they're undefeated and their work around the ground is awesome.

Over-rated: St.Kilda & Collingwood. St. Kilda got off to a pretty good start but they suck now and people still think they have a chance at the flag. Collingwood is always over-rated.
