    Chlorophyll a and b which absorb in the red and blue regions of the VISIBLE spectrum. This means that of the visible colors, the red and blue ones are removed, leaving mostly green, which is why most leaves appear green to our eye.

From physics, we know that the leaf appears green because the leaf reflects the color green. This means that the other colors, i.e. red, blue, orange, are all absorbed by the leaf.
