Allen Iverson:
All throughout his career, Allen Iverson has been a trend setter. Be it the weird tattoos, pierced eyes and ears or the brilliant of basketball which he brought onto the court. However, never the one to shy away from controversies,
he has been involved in unethical practices during his career.
Throughout his14 years in the league, Iverson built a reputation of being notorious for his attitude and despite being one of the best players of his time; many franchises traded him just to avoid controversies caused by him. In
his career, played for four different teams in the league and now playing in Turkey for Besiktas basketball club.
In 1997, Iverson was arrested on several accounts, including carrying weapons and drugs and was sent to community service. He was also allegedly convicted in the court in 2002 when he and his friends broke the law and were involved
in altercation with some of the local protesters. His most shocking incident though came during an altercation with his wife. He brutally threw his wife out from his house and threatened her two rescuers with a gun.
Although, Iverson showed very persistence performances in his career at the NBA, but his involvement with those unethical behaviours and aggressive actions brought him no good.
Dennis Rodman:
Dennis Rodman had an illustrious NBA career, but despite being a superstar in the league, he always remained controversial throughout his career. In fact, his controversies were more popular than his basketball skills on the court.
From his childhood to his professional basketball career, he was involved in many illegal and unethical activities which brought him humiliation.
His controversial behaviours led him to police arrests several times, but he never learned a lesson continued his wrong doings whenever his rage and hyper nature provoked him. He was most criticised as a family man and never showed
any respect to his girl-friends and wives. He remained involved in domestic violence and was arrested by police on several occasions.
People close to Rodman, often advocate that his bad behaviour was due to a hard childhood. Rodman attempted to commit suicide once his attitude has always been very aggressive towards life. This aggression however worked wonders
for him on the basketball court and being the part of Championship winning sides of Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls, he will forever be remembered as the greatest defensive players of all times.
Rodman was no doubt very athletic and full of energy when he entered in the league. His game was also very aggressive and he was literally unstoppable on the court. His super talent made him instant superstar around the league.
However fame took a toll on the defensive beast and his on-court behaviour, get up and controversies soon made him the most notorious player in the league. His disturbed behaviours led him to being arrested on quite a few occasions.
His first legal trouble came in 1999, when he was allegedly charged with domestic violence, an offense which cost him heavy amount of money. He has been also arrested over drunken driving, driving without a valid license and altercation with police officer.
