The most optimistic managers in the Premier League this season – Part 1
A manager’s job is not for the faint-hearted. Leading a club through the entire season is like stepping through a minefield. One wrong step and BOOM; instant manager puree. This season has been particularly stressful for the unfortunate people in charge
and the high profile dismissals of Sam Allardyce and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Hughton give weight to the claim that a Premier League manager’s position is the most unstable job in the world.
Many worry about their future after every slip-up, constantly living in fear of the dreaded axe. However, there are some managers who, despite all odds, manage to keep a sunny disposition on life. This list honours the most optimistic managers serving in
the Premier League today.

Roy Hodgson:
Roy Hodgson often looks as though he’s crying, but don’t let that fool you. He is one of the most optimistic people in the League today. The 63-year-old has the dubious honour of overseeing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s worst season in recent memory. Only the oldest Reds
fan will be able to tell you about the last time Liverpool were 12th in the table. To make matters worse, they are just four points away from the relegation zone.
However, Hodgson remains adamant that he can turn the season around. His words would be more believable if Liverpool actually showed any signs of progress on the field. As it is, the entire side runs aimlessly around the pitch for ninety minutes, a performance
which Hodgson often calls ‘a marked improvement’.
The Liverpool manager refuses to blame his tactical ability (or lack thereof) for the team’s recent slump in form. Instead, Hodgson continues to point fingers at previous manager Rafael Benitez, and more astonishingly, the fans. The 63-year-old is edging
closer and closer to the axe, but he insists that if given time, he can bring Liverpool back to their former glories. If things continue like this though, the only title Hodgson will be aiming for next season will be the Coca Cola Championship.

Carlo Ancelotti:
The Italian may not look happy most of the time, but underneath that sober exterior lies a carefree hippie just waiting to burst out. Ancelotti has seen his side slump down into fifth place after enduring their worst run of form in the Barclays Premier League
for over fifteen years. It’s almost impossible for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 to recover the ground they have lost to leaders Manchester United, yet the Italian brazenly insists that the Blues are going to win the title this season.
In a campaign where two managers have been sacked for doing a good job at their respective clubs, what hope does Ancelotti have of retaining his chair after the dismal performances his side put forward? If you ask the man himself, he will tell you that he
still has the full backing of the Chelsea owner. Apparently, Ancelotti doesn’t fear for his job at all.
Perhaps if someone told him how many managers have served at Stamford Bridge in the last four years, he might be forced to reconsider his stance. The Italian definitely earns his place in this list. Kudos, Mr. Ancelotti. Enjoy it though; this might be the
only honour you win this season.
