  1. The answer is B because is was the most successful slave revolt in the Americas.  Nat Turner's Rebellion, although probably more well known in the US, was unsuccessful.


  2. I wasn't there. I guess I could ask the ancestors that were there at the time, but they were Native American, so there language has died out.

  3. The Haitian Revolution in Saint Dominque was by far the most successful slave revolt. Its occurrence set a precedent by instilling a sense of hope in slaves across the Americas. In fact, many leaders in slave-holding countries discouraged talk of the revolution to avoid rebellion.
