Michael Jackson!!! the amount of talent that this man has needs to be seen to be believed. (he is in Rock&#039;n&#039;Roll hall of fame twice)

I would also agree with you about: The Beatles and Guns &#039;n&#039; Roses. Black Eyed Peas are still to prove them selves, which I know they will. The rest you chose are rubbish tough.

You should be a little more specific when you talk about &quot;musical artists&quot; in history.  Based on your answers, you seem to be thinking of Pop artists more than anything.  

For me, when it comes to musical artists in ALL OF HISTORY, one cannot go without mentioning Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Bach, and other great composers in history for without them, music would not be as we know it today.

When you say &quot;in history&quot; it sounds like from the beginning, but most of your picks are very recent, even contemporary artists. How about Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin, Roger Miller, Little Richard,Janis Joplin, Queen, the Beatles (I agree with you on that one), Elton John, Marvin Gaye,Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, K.D. Lang. There are a million others that deserve credit as well. Have you ever been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH? I highly recommend you visit it and you will have the answer to your question.
