The mouse im feeding my snake is bleeding?

what the h**l! this has never happened before it's bleeding from it's nose and eyes. Is this harmful to my snake in any way? I mean seriously i'll stick my hand in there and pull that out. I don't want my snake to get a disease or something

  1. no, it's not harmful. don't' pull it out like the one person said. Sometimes when snakes bite the mice, they will draw blood or they will squeeze it so hard that blood will come out of it's orifices. This is especially the case w/ frozen mice. Your snake is swallowing the mouse whole and raw so mouse blood will not have a negative effect. Dont' worry and allow your snake to finish it's meal


  2. It's going to happen sooner or later, for all the reasons Justin said.

    If you're feeding live mice to your snake, if it gets bit, or gets constricted - that mouse bleeding isn't impossible to happen.

    There's no real negatives from a snake getting mouse blood on it.


  3. Id take out the mouse! i wouldnt wanna risk the health of my pet!

  4. probably not. snakes eat them alive in the wild and they bleed. blood is in animals that other animals eat. fact of life your snake will be fine.
