  1. It's not scary, but it is creepy if that makes sense.

It's got a lot of intense imagery, and its got some gross out scenes but compared to some of the horror movies that come out nowadays (saw, hostel etc) it's pretty tame.

It's evil and satanic, so I don't particularly like recommending it to people, but it is a pretty good movie.

point of info: i cannot stand horror movies.  i don't know how people enjoy them.  that said, the exorcist is a movie that i've seen several times and enjoy.

  2. The Exorcist...

Yep, it's kinda old now, but it's not really like "ghost jumps out & makes you scream" scary... just eerie, in a "demon possession & a ewww that's disgusting" kinda way.

  3. It is the kind of movie that really scares you deep down inside.

Not the typical "BOO" you get with common scary movies.

  4. yup its scary........the effects are so obvious but its still scarier than freddy and jason and chucky

  5. yeah it is

    plz dont watch it

i mean i know it sounds exciting at the time

but it really messes up your mind

imagine countless days of unable to sleep

because you cant get the face and her expressions out of your mind

    it's awful

    and the nightmares you'll have.

    eeeek.

  6. Depends on which one. There's an older version and the newer version. Try watching a movie trailer first to get a feel of the movie.

  7. yeah its pretty scary

  8. It really isn't too bad. I watched it the first time really early in the morning. I did have a friend with me, but I twitch at everything and I never hid my eyes from it. It's scary in the psychological way.

  9. Isn't the point of a horror movie to be scared of it. Watch it, it will be more fun in the dark... alone.

  10. it's not bad at all just remember it's a true story but happens to a boy but all it is, is make up

  11. I saw that movie when it first hit theaters and it still gives me nightmares. I wouldn't watch that movie again for money.  It was torture.

By the end you didn't want the movie to bring you back up those stairs one more time to that room where the demon was.  As a horror movie it was top notch if you like that sort.

    .

  12. Depends how old you are, I guess.  Myself, I thought it was stupid.  But then, I'm a Scorpio and nothing scares me.  Except maybe the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre that they showed at the drive in about 35 years ago.  The re-make sucks.

  13. It's pretty scary in the dark by yourself but the book is really scary.  It's way more intense then the movie.

  14. the original one? when i saw it that was scary, and it was late at night, home alone, and stormy... then again i was also 12.

ps. that stuf about the nightmares is true, i did see that girl's face at the end of my bed for like a month.
