the company has already charged me 3 times the estimated amount, and refuses to give me a credit. once they arrive, they require a cashier's check. i refuse to give this company any more money. what can i do? i want my things, yet they've taken me to the cleaners already. any advice without getting an attorney involved?

  1. Check out the below website pronto.  The main link is: www.consumeraffairs.com (in case the link is cut off).  Search "moving company complaints", and several links will pop up.

Apparently, this isn't uncommon.  I hope you can get some help.  I've been ripped off by them, too.
