The mucus plug or "show"????

Question

ive had discharge for the past 2 or 3 days.....im due the 23rd of this month......with my first i had discharge the day i went in t labor and it was clear wit a little blood. This is my 2nd pregnancy iv been having braxton hicks alot these past two mo. and the discharge ive had is more of a yellow color with no blood and its quite a bit......is it an infection or is it the mucus plug______hope this makes sentce, thnx
