I just heard of this name for a baby girl. I think its a pretty unique name but not that weird. what do you think?

it's pronounced Nay-vah

I think it means snow in another language??

I've only heard it as a short form of Geneva, pronounced Nee-vuh.

Nieva means snow in spanish. I think it's unique too. It may get mispronounced though as Nee-vah. Or she could get called Navel. I think it's a short form of the name Naveah.

When you name a child, you need to think like a child. children in elementary and junior high cna be quite cruel! So if you can think of a way to make fun of a name, it's not a good one.

i immediately though to pronounce it like "never" but with an a at the end. "i'd neva eva eva do that!" lol. i guess it's ok though.

I like the name but would like it better pronounced NE-VAH! I knew a girl named Neva growing up and she was BEAUTIFUL

I doubt people would pronounce it correctly, but I think it sounds prettier pronounced Nee-vah anyhow! I kinda like it, but when typed it looks like little tweenager netspeak, haha.

such a pretty name! i love that name! by the way, i like it spelled neva way better than nayvah. nayvah looks so made up! try spelling it Naeva - i like Naeva better than Neva. Nae is pronounced nay - rhymes with rae.

it is pretty, but i think people will always mispronounce it as Nee-vah.
