The name Nevaeh...??

Question

ok first of all i hate this name and would NEVER consider it for my child but if the name Nevaeh is Heaven backwards wouldnt tha make the meaning of Nevaeh h**l, because its like the opposite of Heaven?

anyway why would anyone want to name their child that if that is what it means?

are you serious? that is not the meaning of h**l. the person who said the name means she will have 5 kids from five different men need to grow up. your name doesn't turn you into a w***e or trash or a stipper. god that's the stupidiest thing i ever heard. also to the person who said something about how she was out and heard a mother call her daughter heaven leah: i am glad you didn't say anything because it is not your business or no one elses as to what a parent chooses to name their child. that name could have some kind of personal meaning behind it. if it was me that somebody came up to questioning the name i gave my daughter they would have gotten put in their place right then and there.

although i do not like the name i think your little theory is ridiculous.they just do not want to name their child heaven..i hate when it is pronounced na-vay-ah i like it better nev-ah.but i do not like the name i just think that is quite stupid what you have said.and you should be more sensitive to how rudely you talk about names chances are there are people who read this question and have a friend of family with that name i have a niece named nevaeh i just do not care what people think about names that's why the parents choose them..

The other day, I heard a woman speaking to her daughter and she called the little girl "Heaven Leah".  

I wanted so bad to make a comment, but I didn't.  The name of that little girl sounds like a stripper or something like that...

I tend to agree with you. People who use it generally aren't putting much thought into naming other than "omigawd so kyoooooot!" They're the same people who think it's actually a unique name, even though the popularity of it has exploded over the last couple of years, and there are two spellings in the top thousand (Nevaeh and Neveah), plus Naveah and Navaeh gaining steam.

I can't stand the name Nevaeh. I agree with you completely. They probably aren't the smartest people naming their child after h**l. I think they are trying to be nice naming them after Heaven but don't realize what it actually means?

Agreed. Most of the people who name their daughters Nevaeh aren't too bright and just think that Its nice to name their daughter heaven backwards. They don't realise it means the opposite.

I am so with you!  Every time I see some idiot on here wanting to name their kid Nevaeh, I tell them about possessed people saying their prayers backwards, and a lot of prayers have the word 'heaven" in them.  These people may as well be calling their kid Satan or h**l Child!

Then again, this name is the rage in all the trailer parks.....Can't expect much from people like that.

Neveah is just heaven backwards, its not the opposite of heaven.
