The name of the Mexican drink I had??

Question

I went down to Mexico to visit some family and mi tia gave me this drink that was red like fruit punch she gave me some to take home its like dry red stuff and she said boil it and its called mica or something with a m at the beginning and I have not been able to find anything about since I got back

It is called Jamica. (: I think it tastes better iced cold. But you can buy this at a Burrito Shop or something like that. They have more great flavors like Jamica, Horchata, & a Tamarind one. I never tried the Tamarind one. (:

I think you are talking about Jamaica.  The name in English is hibiscus tea and you can find them at many Mexican markets.
