The negative and positive goodnesses of the Germans?

can you say, what are the specially things...

- which you dislike on the Germans?

- which you like on the Germans??

Dislike:

-- I have to say I've been learning German from the age of 6 but I never really liked the language.

-- When People Think of Germany they usually connect it with Nazism, although I never met a German who's n**i. Really.

Like:

-- Quality Football, that's for sure.

-- Great Beer!! [I'm not that much of a beer fan, only with Football, but I couldn't get enough of it when I was in Munich.]

-- Great People, friendly, ambitious, good in business

-- Good Architecture

-- Literature is great and I really think it's a shame for someone not to read German poems, books and stories in the language it was written in because it really is much better the way it's written in German. No translator can ever beat that.

--Despite German history, the People never actually bring out the wars, facts, concequences etc.

I believe every person is unique, no matter what natioanlity they are. The Germans are all really nice I have to say! =]

1) dislikes: there is always an association to the wars and nazism (sorry, but it is true), women who do not shave, language, accent.

2) Likes: nice people, modern, good football, great beer, good food, great places to visit there, great cars. The people are also very precise and professional, great businesses, etc with a lot of self confidence and determination.

PROs:

efficient, strong. intelligent

CONs:

tend to think alike, not stand up to authority (WW2), mostly conservative and still overly-patriotic

..well Germans i think are:

-very determined people

-thrifty such that they use money orderly and specifically

-brave and strong people

that's what i think so far.,hope i could encounter some of them so i will know them much..

Good answers are already given, just to tell my opinion,

I like the language, the football stuff, some writers like Kafka whom I truly adore, a poet like Goethe, the car industry, and used to love some criminal TV series.

That's all I can say about Germany, as for Germans I can't judge because it's not fair to generalize and decide on people just by nationality.

Dislike: I can't think of any for now, maybe the only negative point on Germany is related to world wars.
