Do any of you know what I can maybe spray on there to keep them away? I can't catch which ones doing it. Also what can I put on my flower beds to keep them outta there. They think its a litter box. I'm an animal lover but its getting to be very annoying . There must be 7 cats that roam.

  1. simple

get citralneela oil and or candles and stick them around your yard ka

if that doesnt work talk to your neighbours or call RSPCA

  2. I think that you should go to your nearest hardwear store like homedepot and buy some repelant. my grandmother had a simular problem but the cats were pooping on the loan chairs.

  3. Here's what you do, put vinegar and water in a spray bottle. You have to make it potent, cats hate the smell of vinegar. Spray it all over it. That should repel them. Pepper works to keep cats out of the garden. There is also another spray you can buy at a pet store or Wal-mart, it is called Be Have. I got it when my cats would not stay off the X-Mas tree.

  4. As far as the scratching on the posts the cats are marking territory.  You could try to squirt them with water if you can catch them, but cats are creatures of habit-you might want to try spraying Tabasco sauce or bitter apple on the posts-they don't like that.  You could also try this-I've read it in several books-take some regular mouse traps, set them and place them UPSIDE DOWN so as NOT to hurt the cats.  You can put a piece of paper over them if you want to so as to cover them up, but when the cats set off the trap, it springs up and scares them.  If they get scared often enough, they will leave your flower beds and spindles alone.  Also, cats are not big fans of tinfoil-If they urinate on it, the sound is not appealing to them, so that might help you too.

  5. You can spray anything that has a strong citrus smell on the deck, and put citrus (orange, lemon) peels in the flower bed. You could also sprinkle cayenne pepper or regular pepper on the soil. There are several sites that sell chemicals you can put in your yard to keep animals away.

    Here's one: http://www.petsolutions.com/default.aspx...

It says to reapply every 24 hours, but if it's always the same cats they'll learn pretty quickly that they don't want to even try anymore.
