I am listening to it for the first time right now and I really like the newer vocal approach and the slower tempo songs. They are a killer band.

  1. Not a huge fan, but its pretty good.

  2. I like their slower songs alot, just a shame they were written for Slipknot...cause they don't fit!

It's an average album...but they are trying different things so lay off em I say!

    Peace

  3. It's good, I think they are a better live band though. They put on a good show.

  4. Personally, I like what I've heard of it so far.  My prediction is several of the hardcore Slipknot fans will ***** and whine that they've gone soft or that this is more like Stone Sour revisited.  I wholeheartedly disagree with these opinions.  This band continues to show remarkable depth while expanding on the original formula.  Oh yeah, and Psychosocial could well be dedicated to a countless number of individuals around these parts.

  5. Its GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

s***w you haters !!!!!!! Last night I got to big fight with somebody becuase he mad fun them with a dumb reason

  6. slipknot is awesome

i never listened to their new CD but i totally love the old stuff

i am actually buying there new cd as soon as i can!

im glad to hear its a good one

  7. yeah, killer...they kill me all right

  8. I don't care what people say (you can call me a hater, but the only thing you know about me is...), if you're a fan you know this new album is just "different." Personally, as a maggot, I'm not at all impressed and tremendously disappointed they made us wait so much for something like this. I will admit some songs such as 'this cold black' do truly sound like "slipknot,"  but most of it sounds like a disagreement of voice and music; Corey's voice doesn't go with the music they are playing and this new album doesn't sound much like slipknot's noise.

I have liked and loved every album except this one. The instruments are definitely slipknot, but the voice is mostly stone sour. Sorry to say, but corey kinda mest up this time.

  9. it is brilliant! i enjoy the soft melodic tracks. psychosocial is brilliant how the guitars and drums play along with eachother! my favorite soft song is snuff! the deluxe edition is good. the bonus tracks are great, the dvd doesnt really go into depth of making the album but it has its moments. i like the bloodstone remix of vermilion prt2 better!
