The new Sony PSP 3000?

I saw that the PSP 3000 will be realeased in October. They say so anyways. http://www.engadget.com/2008/08/20/sony-gets-official-with-psp-3000/ I was wondering, do you think people will be able to mod their PSP 3000's and put custom firmware on it, or is Sony trying to stop it with this new PSP?

It depends to what extent people want to mod their psp's i mean a simple menu re-design they probablt deem as acceptable but anything futher theyll probaably be trying to prevent it.

the new PSP-3000 will probably be really protected and you probably cant put custom firmwire on it. some people say sony made the 3000 after they found out even the new motherboard on the madden09 pack coould get hacked
