The new World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry assaults Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross – WWE Update
The new World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry continued his dominance during Monday Night Raw segment on September 19, as he brutally assaulted the two members of Raw announce table, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross.
The World Champion appeared during Monday Night Raw for an interview by Jim Ross. Before the interview, Ross announced in front of the WWE Universe that the Viper, Randy Orton will have his rematch at the upcoming pay-per-view event of WWE, h**l in the Cell.
Afterwards, Ross introduced the new World Heavyweight Champion, Henry as he headed towards the ring.
The ring announcer congratulated the World’s Strongest Man for becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion after defeating the Viper at the Night of Champions. Ross asked Henry that he was feeling to attest the naysayers wrong.
Henry talked about the upcoming “h**l in the Cell” event and said that he never been in such events but he gave Orton a good beating at the Night of Champions. The World Champion promised to repeat that once again. Henry stated that he would be the most
dominant World Champion. The new World Heavyweight Champion was in an aggressive mood and wanted to show off his dominance in the WWE.
Afterwards, Henry came to Ross and said that he and WWE Universe never supported him for being the World Champion and never believed in him. Henry wanted Ross to apologise on behalf of all the WWE Universe.
Henry picked up Ross by his tie as Jerry entered the ring and asked Henry to let Ross go. The World Champion left Ross and turned to Jerry in the ring. The King, Lawler started hitting Henry with punches but the Champion dropped him onto the mat with one
hand and then hit him with the World’s Strongest Slam. He cleared the table and threw Lawler on it. He once again hit Lawler with World’s Strongest Slam on the announce table. Lawler was unable to get up after that, as the World Champion left the ring with
that assault while the crowd booed.
