  1. There is talk the AFL is backing down on this rule

  2. Completely overboard....

.....& they did it without even having a life vest available!

  3. Yeah it's gone overboard, no doubt.

Next the runner will be holding a sign above his head displaying the number of the player he wants off the ground.

OOppppps ............ I forgot they do that in soccer don't they ??????

The thing that is so stooopid,  the emergency umpire could police it without having to write down names, or numbers and stand in the yellow box.

  4. the afl has gone completely overboard.  we went from 1 game where a team had 19 players on the ground for a short amount of time, and when the team realised it, they fixed it.

we are now at a game where they have hired new staff, (who stuffed up) now computers, and we still saw last week that collingwood had 4 players waiting to come off, but couldn't, cos of paperwork. its bloody ridiculous, why fix something thats not broken, and wen the afl says there is nothing wrong, everybody knows it, but yet the afl denies it. why the h**l are they over complicating things???

  5. I have a theory that the AFL wants to reduce the number of interchanges but the coaches and clubs weren't happy  so they have found a way of getting around the coaches grievances  by slowing down the interchanges by post it notes, the AFL get the  results they want  and the clubs can't do anything about it

  6. Yet another pointless rule.

What is it with the powers that be?   Why do they always over-react when,  heaven forbid,  something goes wrong?

Just teach Sydney how to count and the problem's solved...

  7. They have certainly gone overboard, it must be a prerequisite, that you be stupid to work at the AFL.

    bloody ridiculous

  8. yes there ruining the game with the new rules over the past 5 years

    Vote Me The Best

  9. for sure, its simple one comes off and another goes on.

    why is it so hard?

  10. Initially I think they did, but I think that the clubs are beginning to get the hang of it now, so thats the main thing.

  11. no

    i like it

  12. I think it is absolute bull c**p..

To see these men trying to decide weather to cross the line or not is pathetic..

For F's sake i thought this was Aussie rules Footy Not soccer..

Too many new rules are stuffing too many clubs up,get rid of the stupid rule OR make them rules a little more lenient-In other words big whoop if the player crosses that yellow line,he isn't crossing the white boundary line is he...

Last week's match had to be one of the biggest stuff up's,i am glad the di<khead boundary ump was given some sort of *** kicking too..

Teach the boundary ump's the rules properly and make sure they know the proper new rule before it is put in force...

  13. yes, it should just be a matter of making sure someone writes it down, not wait for the last second to do it... i think thats what is goin on, i dont really completly get it?!

  14. h**l yea. the AFL is completely stupid this year. they should hav left the interchange the way it was.

  15. Yes.

But they are backing down because Collingwood couldn't understand the rules & it would have held the game up.
