"the jets are a 9-7 team at best." many say. the jets added an all pro guard and an underused damien woody. the jets line just got better. they added massive NT in kris jenkins. two big keys to success to is have a solid front on offense and defense (which the jets now have). having a good defensive front will improve the linebackers, especially in the 3-4 and will improve the defensive backs as well.

BIGGEST IMPACT IS BRETT FAVRE!

think i'm kidding? you got a hall of famer qb playing for you. everyone on the offense will be pumped and will be playing harder because they are not just playing for the sake of the jets, they are now a part of a legacy. they have a great shot at the superbowl even in the tough afc becaus ea guy like brett favre improves ever single player on the offense and will even pump up the jets' defense. favre makes players look good. the receivers and running backs will be solid. favre even has a guy that is like dallas clark and favre also has bubba franks. FRANKS WILL BE GREAT THIS YEAR IF HE GETS PLAYING TIME!

look at the schedule for the jets. doesn't look that tough. as long as they take it 1 game at a time and not under or even overestimate games, i seriously think they are 16-0 team. unlike the pats, they'll be 19-0. what do you think of my insight? (i'm crazy, but who isn't when it comes to football?)

  1. Favre retired last year and came back to the packers and did not win the S.B. he wont do it this year either throws the ball in coverages he has no business throwing in

  2. It's great that you love your team.

Loving your team has blurred your objectivity.

Any new team and new QB will take time to get used to each other. I'd temper your irrational exhuberance for a while and give them time to work together.  Montana, Namath, Unitas all finished their final year with another team.  None accomplished a lot with it.  The same has happened with Marcus Allen and many others.  I have a higher regard than ever for the way Barry Sanders and Jim Brown ended their careers - on top, at their choosing, at the peak of their ability, and with no peer among their contemporaries who could match them.
