Question:

The news is all saying that the DNA clears the Ramseys and they are innocent. But I don't know about that.

Isn't it still possible that they were in on the murder of their daughter? Perhaps they arranged for someone to kill her in their basement. There's just still all those troubling details. For example, the ransom note being written from the legal pad from within the house, the many similarities between Patsy's handwriting style and the ransom note, the Ramseys refusing a polygraph test for a long time (and then only agreeing to one under their own lawyer's terms), the Ramseys refusing to ever be interviewed separately, John Ramsey never looking sad, angry, or upset over losing his daughter (and rarely even mentioning her; instead focusing on how he and Pasty are "vindicated").

These and MUCH MUCH more suspicious and troubling things about the parents mean I cannot conclude from the recent new DNA results that they had nothing at all to do with it. I'm not saying that the parents definitely did. Just puzzled at how the news and commentary are all declaring them 100% innocent now.

  1. The entire investigation was as bungled up as O.J. Simpson's. The US sheriffs, police and FBI are bunglers, they waste time and effort at infighting and ego trips and promote bureaucrats with no idea what they are doing.

Remember the 4 boys two years ago, which where lost and a million$ manhunt gave up after a week of search. Then the Dad found them in his backyard in the trunk of an old car and everybody knew, they used to play in there. The trunk closed on them and they died slowly for a week.

Or the blond girl, which was lost for a year and lived with a guy in visible range of her parents house in Salt Lake City

The examples of bungling are endless, not to talk about the 102 tips the FBI got leading up to 9/11.

Almost every major police department and sheriffs department is under investigation by the FBI, leading nowhere.

  2. Bingo. Yes, the DNA proves that there was some non family member involved in the killing, but there's still extremely troubling aspects of the case. Until they match the DNA with a viable suspect with no connection to the parents, I don't buy it.
