ok i got in normal ediion and my friend has a blue ray and he wants to know is it worht 10 extra bucks

If your friend likes things like better picture and he has a high def tv than yes get the blue ray.  If he doesn't have a high def tv and doesn't really care about better picture than the regular dvd would be fine.

haven't tried it yet. have read all about it. i have read that it is about the same quality of hd. not a major difference. i am taking my time because of reading such reports. for instance a standard dvd is about the same vhs, just newer and handier technology. no rush, i say. let the prices level off.
