The obstacles in The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

In the alchemist there are 4 obstacles. I have to write an essay and provide an example of where all 4 obstacles have came up in the book. I found 2 out of 4 of the obstacles. I have read and re-read the book and still cant find the other too. PLEASE HELP. Here are the 2 that I need help with :1) Being told from childhood that what we want to do is impossible. 3) Fearing defeats that we will meet on the journey.

Please help me find where these are in the book.
