Ok all you scrabble players here's the question. What does the Scrabble Players Dictionary Fourth Edition have in it? A fully revised new edition of the ultimate resource for millions of Scrabble players!

All the words found in four source dictionaries of two-to eight letters and their inflections, excepting words that are always capitalized and offensive terms.

There are acceptable words not found in the dictionary because they are longer than eight letters and not inflections of shorter words, for example LIGHTHOUSE which can be easily accomplished by extending either LIGHT or HOUSE, but is ten letters long.

So you should always also have a good general dictionary ( a collegiate one is probably best) for challenges on disputed words.
