Zenyatta, daughter of Street Cry, out of Vertigineux, gave birth to a colt on 8th March, 2012. Sired by Bernardini, this offspring has winner’s blood in him.
Zenyatta has won 19 out of 20 races in her career. Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Jerome S. Moss, the mare’s retirement was announced on 17th November, 2010. Not only has she acquired 19 victories, but she was race favourite throughout
her career . Her career debut, the Maiden Special Weight (Mares & Fillies) was held at Hollywood Park, on 22nd November, 2007.
Her racing record is one of the most impressive ones in recent history. She secured a victory in the Grade 2 Milady Handicap, which took place on 23rd May, 2009, at Hollywood Park. In this race, she defeated, Life is Sweet,
over a distance of 1 1/16 miles.
She had bagged many victories in the Santa Anita Park as well. She entered the race with the odds of 2 to 5, and succeeded over, Lethal Heat, by 1 ¼ lengths in the Grade 1 Lady’s Secret Stakes, held on 10th October, 2009.
Her next victory at Santa Anita took place on 13th March, 2010, as she claimed victory by defeating, Dance To My Tune, by 1 ¼ lengths in the Grade 1 Santa Margarita Invitational Handicap.
Her historic Breeders’ Cup Classic victory took place on 7th November, 2009, at Santa Anita Park, where she defeated Gio Ponti by 1 length.
She finished as a runner-up in the last race of her career, bringing an end to an outstanding and accomplished racing career. The last race of her career took place on 6th November, 2010, at Churchill Downs, where she was defeated,
Blame by a head in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Because of her extremely successful career, Zenyatta was named Horse of the Year in 2010.

Bernardini, the father of the foal, has had a shining record of his own. He acquired many victories in his career as he finished in first place in six out of eight races in his career.
The son of A.P. Indy, out of Cara Rafaela, is famous for his victory at Saratoga. He entered the race as a favourite and defeated Bluegrass Cat by a wide margin of 7 ½ lengths in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes, held on 26th August,
2006.
Owned by the Darley Stable and trained by Thomas Albertrani, the horse also excelled at Belmont Park, on 7th October, 2006, where he defeated Wanderin Boy, again by a wide margin of 6 ¾ lengths, in the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold
Cup.
Born to parents loved and cherished by the United States, it seems that this foal is born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The dark bay colt has matched his mother’s dark coat with a star on it. The star may be symbolic of his racing career which
