The hospital was on the corner of Park and Washington Blvd. It was for people with very little money My brother was born there in 1946 and died there. Please if you have any information on the hospital I would appreciate it so much. It was there in the 1960 till the 1990 but I left and I wonder if it is still there. in the 1990"s it was only used for free shots and things like that. Help me if you can, please. It is so important and I do not know how to work the computer enough to look for it. I have no idea how to even check back on this. Hope I can.

  1. Google says:

    Beaumont Public Health Department‎

    950 Washington Blvd, Beaumont, TX

    (409) 832-4000‎

which looks to be only half a block from the corner of Washington Blvd & Park St.

  2. Not as a hospital.  It is used for the City Health Department.  You can get birth certificates there.

It was originally a home and then became a hospital. The old TB hospital had also belonged to the same family as a home.  When they drew up their will, they specifically mentioned they didn't want their home at the time to be another hospital

    Address 950 Washington Blvd.
