  6. like other nations suck, and we are the greatest, so mission accomplished right?  also that I have wasted away much of my life on smoking weed and reading the Far Side comics, I  doubt there's an event for that...  *cries* like Guido.

  7. The Olympics always give me this warm fuzzy feeling.  I love the competition.

But when I see the athletes, I too feel fat and lazy.

  9. They make me feel like giggling because China keeps doing stupid things.

  10. In some aspects, I would agree.  I know that watching the athletes perform certainly makes me feel out of shape.   However, I can appreciate the efforts and training that they endure to keep themselves is such great shape.  As for feeling lazy for just sitting and watching the Olympics, I must admit that I haven’t been “glued” to the TV nor have I become a couch potato for the Olympics.  This is probably mostly because the Olympic competitions occur so early in the morning local time.  I’m just not up at 2:00am to watch gymnastics.  Thank God for TiVo…

  11. Hahaha, yes I feel the same way!  It's amazing how easy the athletes make everything look!

It also makes me feel very proud of our country!

  15. Proud when America wins.  I am middle aged, I know I'll never be in the great shape those athletes are, I certainly am not going to beat myself up over it.  These athletes are unique, that is why they are in the Olympics.  The rest of us don't have the natural ability or correct body structure to participate no matter how hard we exercise.
