I bet he was hoping Franklin and Fev didn't get the ton before he gets back.

But listen kids, don't you just love the way Brucey gets so emotional about an event unfolding - asks the inevitable question "Can he/she?" - then the come back "Of course he/she can", followed by the unintelligible blubbering as Brucey collapses in tears.

That is too great to miss. He is all heart don't you think?

THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED SOME GAMES LIVE!!!!!(except stk vs. adel 2day which was half hour delay)

He is the main reason I was put off by these games. We had to listen to him with the swimming & then he followed up in the athletics!

I couldn't help myself - I had to apply the mute when he was waffling.

He will be beside himself with excitement if he gets to be calling the game next week &/if Franklin kicks his 100th season goal. I bet it wouldn't matter who was talking at the time - he would take over. I can just picture him in my mind - he will waffle condescending remarks about Buddy for ages after the ball goes between the posts.

No Molly - there was indeed no good thing about Ch7 showing the 'lympics.  They was shite and I had quite enough of Bruce anyway.

Perhaps they would be better off bringing back BIIIIIIG Darryl Eastlake  (Oh that's huuuuuuge) and Mike Gibson (Oh, they're huuuuuuuuuge) to add some "intelligence" to the broadcasts coz those guys were pathetic (what little we saw of them between the ads)

if the game is live, try listening to the radio while having the tv put on mute.  and if the game is delayed, then ur screwed lol.

HOLY c**p this means bruce will be commentating the grandfinal!!! ARGHHH..... ah well, dennis will even things out a bit with his awesome commentating.
