The only thing people care about is my height. Help?

I just started junior high (8th grade) and i'm 13 and six feet five inches. But whenever i walk down the halls all i get are comments just about how tall i am. I always used to love my height but now it is getting to be so annoying. Any help?

I understand where you are coming from because I was 5'9 by 9th grade and 6' by junior year and I'm a girl. I modeled but still I had the hardest time finding a date because no guy wanted to date a girl who was taller. Oh how I would have LOVED to have known a guy like you back then!!

People are probably just stunned by how tall you are, and I know it's annoying, but it's also kind of awesome. People look up to you. Literally. So try to be comfortable in your skin. Trust me, one day you are going to realize the advantages of being tall. Girls love standing on their tiptoes to kiss.

Have you ever heard of the Napoleon complex about short men? There isn't one for tall men.

Wish I could help, but I can tell you my sister was 6'3" her freshman year in high school and if you think it sux for you, it's wayyyyyyyy worse for a girl. Suck it up, most guys will be jealous of your height and most girls will think it's attractive. Carry it like you OWN it.

ok same with me but im not quite that tall but what helps me is is just smile and wave at an angle shooting downward and you should be proud of your height and if your PE teacher tries to convince you to do football or basketball do wut i did punch him lol aight peace

I'm in 9th grade and although I'm not as tall as you are, I'm pretty tall. Like the one person said, just flaunt it off. You can't change it, so try to use it as an advantage. I like it when girls who are like 5 feet compare their height to me, it makes me feel so empowering.

flaunt it. i was really tall when i was in middle school and i hated it. but then i realized...there's nothing really i can do about it. so just take it as a complement. there is nothing wrong with being tall.

trust me, girls like tall guys.

you have to be comfortable in your height. just get used to it. it's better to be tall than short.

Im a junior in high school

and trust me in due time girls will be all over you .

the girls crave tall guys , especially if yur cutee ;)

and yu can easily get a modeling job or work at A&F when yur 15

Be Comfortable with your height.  Most girls like tall guys.  Join activities that interest you (example - music & drama, school paper , debate team ) so that you are more interesting.  This will widen your circle of friends and people will see you in a different light.
