The original Prom Night or Prom Night 2008?

Which did you prefer? Which one was better and why?

Any 80s horror remake today cannot even compete with the originals...period. My husband is a horror fan and everything I've [willingly] seen with him has been better than any of the garbage they put out today.

The original follows a good story line. The remake tries too hard and fails.

original Prom Night is more scarier in my opinion. I didn't like the 2008 one.

I haven't seen the original but the 2008 version sucked big time. Definitely the worst movie of the year along with Meet the Spartans. I'm sorry if I was being rude by saying it sucked but I paid $10.

I haven't seen either but I will just go by my experience with other movies.

The originals are usually better because they use the psychological fear instead of the blood and gore. They may use some but not as bad as our violence crazy directors of today do.

I wanted to see Prom Night but never got around to it.
