The other race?

Question

In your opinion if california were to loose a race who do u think should get the other race. My opinion it should be chicagoland i really like the racing there and i think its going to be really good this year under the lights.

*****I have always liked the short tracks as far as generating more action.  Bristol and Martinsville are cool.  Richmond isn't bad either.

They need to bring back The southern 500 or at least give a date back to the Rock.

Las Vegas,Darlington, or Rockingham. Darlington has a lot of history and is tough as h**l, Las Vegas is probably the best 1.5 mile track, and The Rock deserves to be back on the Cup schedule, plain and simple.

I live in Calif also, and only 45 minutes (depending on the wonderful Calif traffic) from Fontana..The Sept race needs to go back to Darlington, dang why can't Nascar get this right its NASCAR TRADITION...The SOUTHERN 500 is LABOR DAY weekend....Geez..People in So calif had rather be on the beach all 2 million of them than go to Fontana to a race...The Feb race is okay, but i still say it would be better if they would have a race the weekend before baseball season starts...;But Calif only needs one race...Sorry Brian France you dumb a**, sorry Calif and Hollywood its just not Nascar material, you'd be better off with a couple races in Vegas cause we all know everyone in Calif goes to Vegas to the race....For example 65 members in our Nascar club 12 go to Fontana, all 65 and they bring all their friends & family to Vegas...Yeah Vegas gotta love that place, I do...I take a 5 day weekend when I go..after all what goes to vegas stays in vegas...yeah my money.....But Vegas could use a 2nd race and just get the Southern 500 back to Darlington on Labor day weekend...as Autoclub Speedway out here is working on a road course for Rolex series raced and IRL race and motocross as well....Nascar people had just rather watch on TV...Believe me I have tried to convert people, dang its way to much of a challenge out here...I wave my white flag.

Im with you on Chicago its uaually a great race and its in a good size TV market too so I dont think Nascar would suffer too much. Giving Darlington back the labor day race would be cool also.

Give it right back to Darlington to restore the tradition. If not Darlington, definitely Las Vegas. I can't wait to see Chicagoland under the lights this year. Bring back The Rock also.

In my opinion, just leave the Cali races alone.  But, then again, I live in Cali.  I just think they ought to change the schedule for the races here to avoid the weather problems...ie:  rain, heat.
