The out form players who would be looking to get back in the National Hockey League: Part 2
The article is a follow up of the previous articles in which the players who were one of the best at one stage and have not been doing too well in recent times, were discussed.
In this article some more players are discussed below.
Sidney Crosby
Sidney Crosby is the captain of Pittsburgh Penguins who has been affected by injuries in the last two seasons. The player who had four 100+ points season in five years, was one of the biggest scorers of the game and the league but because of injuries he
has not been able to play all the games.
After 102, 120, 72, 103 and 109 points seasons from 2005-2010, Crosby could score just 66 points in 41 games in 2010-2011 season and then 37 points in 22 games in last season.
He would surely be looking to get back into form and start scoring 100+ points again.
Taylor Hall
The Canadian, Taylor Hall was 2010 NHL Draft’s top overall pick in the first round and so much was expected from him. But he has not impressed as much as his team and supporters were expecting from him.
Hall, who plays as a left-winger, represented Canada in many international competitions and won laurels for them. He was part of Gold medal winning team in under-17 world championship, under-18 world championship and Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament.
But for Edmonton Oilers, he scored just 22 goals, 20 assists and 42 points in 65 games in the first season and 27 goals, 26 assists and 53 total points in 61 games of 2011-2012 season.
Hall would atleast try to score with average of point per game next season.
Jeff Skinner
20-year-old Skinner was was picked 7th overall in the first round of the 2010 NHL Draft by Carolina Hurricanes. He had a good first season in which he scored 31 goals, 32 assists and 63 total points  in 82 games.
After watching his performance in the first season, he was expected to do even better in second season but his performance level dropped.
The left-winger, Toronto native played just 64 games in the 2011-2012 season and scored 20 goals, 24 assists for total of 44 points. He would be looking to do better in the next season and fulfill the expectations of his fans and team.
