The paradox of American policy in the Middle East?

is that almost everywhere there are free elections, the American-backed side tends to lose. What are your thoughts?

The middle east is infested with extremist Muslims who make it very difficult for any government outside of cleric or monarchy rule.

This keeps many of these countries in the stone age when it comes to the rights of people.

Just this month Iran buried 3 women up to their waist and stoned them to death with out a trial.

America is there for one reason and that is to keep the oil tankers sailing though the straights of Hormuz.

If we can get our own domestic drilling cranked up we can watch the desert return to the way it was before we found it.

Then lets see how Europe does with the middle east.
