  1. Passion flower vines are always incredible growers, if you want them to bloom prolifically, make sure they get at least 6 hours of full sun, preferably afternoon (west facing) sun. If they've been in the ground for less then a full year, sometimes the plants will suffer from some shock during the planting process and won't bloom till the second year. If they are well established (generally at least 6 months of being planted during Spring and Summer), then you can give them some granular Bloom Booster fertilizer generally known as 2-10-10. It will kick them into blooming for a bit. Don't forget your regular fertilizer though. Once a month, except during the winter months, with an all purpose fertilizer. Regular fertilizing will help maintain your plant's "happiness" per se, and the happier it is, the more it will bloom. Hope this helps! Good luck!

  2. The one thing passiflora need above all else is sunshine: (don't we all) A south wall is the only place it will succeed in most parts of the country, it must be open to the sun all day. Over rich soil may produce a lot of foliage at the expense of blooms, so go easy on the fertiliser.

  3. Mine took 3 years to flower maybe you need to wait a bit. Also maybe you could have missed them as they flower more and more as they get older.

The first time mine flowered only a few were visible now around 7 years later there are lots and lots in very late summer.

  4. soil too rich, vigour means growth at expense of flowers, once it slows down it will flower.it will flower when it uses up the nutrients in soil.it might flower alittle from sept onwards.but it should flower june to sept normally
