I have an interview in a few days, and I have no clue how to prepare for it? what kind of questions are going to be asked? Should I tell them that I don't have the money yet, but I am working on it? Or does that matter?

  1. I went to Australia in 2005 with People to People. The interview is simple, nothing to stress about. The basic questions they asked me were "Why do you want to be an ambassador?", "Have you ever been away from home without your parents for a period of time?", "What are your hobbies?". Simple things like that. It's no big deal at all. I was stressed before mine too, but it was nothing when it came.

I wouldn't bother telling them that you don't have the money yet. That may make them choose someone else over you because they may think that you're not going to be prepared.

Like I said, don't worry about it. It'll be easy. Good luck! (:

  2. i went to australia in 2006 with people to people and am going to italy, greece and france this year. the interview is no big deal to worry about. they may just ask you questions about being away from home and stuff. stuff just to find out if you are ready for the trip and mature enough. all they are doing is making sure you are responsible enough for such a big trip. i will tell you though, if you get accepted, this trip will be one of the best things of your life :]  have fun and dont stress about it

  3. I went on one to Europe over the last summer.  The questions are easy.  Some are about food but most are about if you have gone on a trip away from your parents for a long time.  just to make sure you are going to be OK.  The money issue thy usually under stand matters on the leaders thou.

  4. i am going on the interview in a couple days too so don't be stressed! good luck and be confident!
