The people who live above me smoke, and i can smell it...?

so i live in a condo, and the woman smokes inside and it travels through the vents and i can smell it. is there anything i can do?

Talk to your landlord about it. It happened to me and it's still happening. That is their home and they have that right. But if you can prove that it's ******* up your health and have the money then take it to court.

It really sounds like you're s.o.l. on this one.  If that woman above you pays the rent or owns that property then she can smoke in there all she wants.

You can move, and deal with it again somewhere else. Smoking is still legal.

Have you tried talking to them? I smoke in my apartment and if someone were to tell me that they can smell it, I would be more than happy to stop smoking inside! I certainly don't want my habit to bother someone in their own home. If they don't respond to your request, speak to your landlord about it.

you can report it, anytime especially if there is children involved then do not take the situation lightly.
