Question:

The perfect solution?

Recently I've been pondering the death penalty and was in favour of it in the case of s*x offenders but not murderers, then I thought it shouldn't be done because of the damage to the exuctionists, but how the state shouldn't have to pay to for their incarceration either (In Ireland it costs 10000 euros a month to keep a prisoner). So I decided on the solution of using them as lab rats, to replace the animals that are cruelly experimented on for cosmetics and medicines. Does anyone within a country that does not practice Capital Punishment agree?

  1. what the h**l are you talking about?

  2. You are worried about the affect an execution would have on the excutioner but not worried about the effect performing experiments would have on the scientist?

I'm a scientist. Its me you would want to carry out these experiments.

Why dont you care about the effect it would have on me?

What have you got against scientists?

Obviously you dont care about the effect on the s*x offender, presumably you view it as a just punishment.

I presume you see the executioner as innocent so why should they be potentially negatively affected by performing the execution?

But its ok to you for the scientist to be negatively effected by carrying out experiments on people?

So its ok for s*x offenders to be experimented on because they deserve punishment and its ok to ask scientists to do the experiments, but why?

Why are the scientists deserving of punishment?

Or have you not thought about that at all?

Does it just make you feel good to know that s*x offenders are being hurt regardless of the effect it may have on anyone else?

Which is a very understandable (and normal) reaction, but that doesnt make it right.

Personally I believe s*x offenders should be locked up, not as punishment but to keep them away from children. I believe there should be a sort of 3 strike system where by if an offender shows risk of re-offending they should automatically receive life, therefore having no access to children or chance to re-offend.

And quite frankly I find the implication that €10,000 a month is too much money to keep a s*x offender away from a potential victim as offensive. I think that is money well spent.
