The wingspan (tip-to-tip) of a Boeing 747 jetliner is 59 m. Assume that the plane is flying at a speed of 220 m/s. The vertical component of the earth's magnetic field at the location of the plan is 5.0 x 10^-6T. Find the emf induced between the wing tips.

A Boeing 747 is made chiefly of non-ferrous metals which will not develop an emf as a result of passing through a magnetic field.  So the answer is zero.  Sorry.
