The picture goes past the edge of the screen

Question

I checked the numbers and it says I have a Curtis Mathis-Daewoo 48B4343A01. My seriel number is CM27101S but my TV has Curtis Mathis on the front. So I am going to guess it is correct i checked my TV's number 3 times by 2 different people. My problem is my TV screen appears to be to small for my picture, top to bottom wise not side to side, If I order the remote will there be any different options for me there to fix this problem?Thank You Lori G.
